Should’ve posted this about 6 weeks ago when baby boy was learning to sit up, but hey–I blog when I can. Did I mention I work full-time? 🙂
I love this stage–this mix of independence and dependence–the desire to be run but still keeping a foot on home base.
Baby boy is working on his steps! He won’t stand on his own without support, but he LOVES being led around by his hands.
I mentioned in a post earlier this week that parents often get too caught up in trying to get their kids to smile. These are some of my favorite silly pics from our recent park trip 🙂
How cute is this?!
I promise I did not photoshop that drool in!! 😀
Baby boy’s first beach day ever! I love this shot–it captures the sand falling through hubby’s fingers and baby’s awestruck expression. We had the BEST day last weekend!
Baby boy recently turned 7 months old and he’s really getting interested in the idea of object permanence. I love how it fascinates him to hide his toys and watch them reappear again and again! It never fails to make him smile which makes everyone else smile too 🙂
I wanted to capture some of this on camera.
One of the memories you’ll want to preserve while your baby is little is the bond that develops during feeding time.
Babies instinctively open their eyes during feedings to promote bonding with their caregiver. It’s a survival instinct, but it’s also a very sweet time to soak up as a parent.
